Lumive (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered networking and communication coaching application designed to help users develop meaningful relationships and interpersonal skills through interactive and personalized training with intelligent virtual agents.

Eligibility and Scope
Lumive is intended solely for individuals aged above 18 years. We do not knowingly permit use of the App by individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not use the App or submit any personal data through our Services. If we discover that data has been collected from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
Our services are designed for a global audience and are accessible internationally. By using Lumive, you understand and consent to your data being processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of your location.
Information We Collect
We collect both personal and non-personal data to deliver, optimize, and support your experience with Lumive.
Personal Information You Provide
When using the App, you may voluntarily provide personal information, such as:

- Communication Inputs: Text, and chat interactions submitted to AI agents during coaching sessions. These inputs are used in real-time to generate AI responses and may be processed by third-party AI platforms in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do not use these inputs for advertising or profiling.

Information Collected Automatically
We collect data automatically when you interact with the App:
- Device Information: Device type, model, OS version, language settings, time zone
- Usage Data: Interaction logs (e.g., features used, time spent), button clicks, and screen flows
- Diagnostic and Crash Data: Logs that help us improve app stability and resolve technical issues
- Analytics: Anonymized data via third-party services (e.g.,AppsFLyer & Firebase Analytics) to track engagement and performance
AI Interaction Data
Lumive utilizes AI-driven language models to power real-time conversation simulations. Interactions with AI agents may be logged in anonymized form for the following purposes:
- Enhancing conversational accuracy and relevance
- Improving our AI coaching algorithms
- Monitoring system behavior and ensuring responsible AI use
AI-generated insights are never used for profiling or automated decision-making that affects users' rights or access.
We log AI interaction data in anonymized form. No personal identifiers (e.g., account email, name) are associated with the logged interaction history. These anonymized inputs may be securely transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for generating responses and improving AI relevance. All transmissions comply with Apple’s data handling requirements and applicable data protection laws.
Geolocation Information
When you choose to enable geolocation features on your device, we may collect and process information about your location. This may include GPS data, Wi-Fi access points, IP address, and other sensor information that help determine your approximate longitude and latitude. We may store your device’s coordinates in order to provide certain features of the App, such as showing the approximate distance between you and other users, or enabling location-based features.
- User Consent: We will always request your explicit permission before accessing your location. You may allow or deny access, and you can withdraw your consent at any time through your device settings.
- Purpose of Use: Location data is used solely to provide in-app functionality, such as helping you discover and interact with nearby users. Location data is **not used for advertising purposes**.
- Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your location data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
- User Control: You may disable location services at any time in your device settings. Please note that certain features of the App may not function properly without location services enabled. If you delete your account, associated location data will also be deleted.
Subscription Policy
Lumive offers optional VIP subscription plans that provide enhanced functionality and personalized coaching experiences.

When you purchase a Lumive VIP subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Canceling during an active billing period will not result in a refund for the remaining time.
You may continue to use Lumive for free without purchasing a subscription. Free users retain access to basic app functionality.
Lumive does not collect, store, or share any payment information. All payments are securely processed by Apple via in-app purchases in accordance with Apple’s App Store policies and payment security standards.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate and maintain the core AI-powered networking and communication training functionality of the App
- To personalize your experience based on your interactions, communication style, and skill level
- To enhance and retrain AI models using anonymized user interaction data
- To respond to user inquiries, resolve bugs, or provide technical support
- To comply with legal requirements or enforce our Terms of Use

Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to enable core features of Lumive:
- OpenAI (or similar LLM providers) – used to generate AI coaching responses in real time. Inputs sent to the AI are anonymized and not used for advertising or profiling.
- AppsFlyer & Firebase Analytics (Google) – used to collect anonymized usage metrics to monitor engagement and improve performance.
All providers are contractually obligated to handle data in compliance with Apple guidelines and applicable privacy regulations.
Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal data to comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect Lumive and its users.
Data Security
We use robust security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure server infrastructure with access controls

No digital system is completely immune to breaches, but we follow industry best practices to mitigate risks.

Lumive operates globally. If you are accessing the App from outside the region where our servers are hosted, please note that your data may be transferred to, processed, and stored in jurisdictions with different privacy protections.
Where applicable, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure adequate protection of international data transfers in accordance with Articles 6 and 13 of GDPR and other laws.
