Please read these terms carefully before using Lumive. By accessing, downloading, or using any part of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.
Eligibility
Lumive is intended only for individuals who are above 18 years of age. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Use of AI Technology
Lumive integrates advanced AI language models and machine learning systems to simulate human-like conversation, provide personalized feedback, and enhance user experience.
While we strive for accuracy and realism, the AI-generated responses are not human and may not always reflect socially appropriate or contextually accurate responses. You agree to use AI-generated interactions for training purposes only and acknowledge their limitations.
Lumive does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and the App must not be used as a substitute for professional consultation.
Global Availability
The Lumive App is available to users worldwide, and we strive to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
By using the App, you acknowledge that:
- Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required by law (such as under GDPR), we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to protect your information.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the use of the App is in compliance with local laws applicable to you

Disclaimers
- The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
- We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.
- The content generated by AI agents is intended for educational and self-improvement purposes only. You understand and agree that AI responses are not a substitute for professional advice or human judgment. You remain solely responsible for any actions or decisions taken based on AI interactions.
Use of the App is at your sole risk. Lumive disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from use of the App.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumive, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or partners shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Unauthorized access or alterations to your data
- Issues related to third-party services or infrastructure
If any liability is found, it will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) to use the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for any issues arising from the use of such services. You acknowledge and agree that interactions processed through third-party AI platforms may be subject to their own data handling practices.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumive, its affiliates, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of the App
- Your interactions with AI agents that breach community guidelines or applicable laws
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or other appropriate means. The most current version of the terms will always be available in the App.
By continuing to use the App after any changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
